NAFI Master Instructor Accreditations February 9, 2010 - The National Association of Flight Instructors (NAFI) takes pride in announcing a significant aviation accomplishment on the part of these very special aviation educators. Recently, the instructors listed below were issued new or renewal accreditation as NAFI Master Flight Instructors by NAFI, their professional aviation education association. The NAFI Master Instructor accreditation is a national accreditation recognized by the FAA that is earned by a candidate through a rigorous process of continuing professional activity and peer review. Much like a flight instructor's certificate, it must be renewed biennially. It is also rigorous enough to qualify as a manner of renewal of a flight instructor certificate. Unlike other accreditations that are based on FIRC requirements, the NAFI Master Instructor accreditation is an accreditation based on professional activity and accomplishment throughout the two years prior to the instructor’s application for accreditation. The NAFI Master Instructor accreditation is a means by which to identify those outstanding aviation educators, are recognized for demonstrating an ongoing commitment to excellence, professional growth, and service to the aviation community.
