NAFI-EAA Mentor Program



The NAFI-EAAMentor program is a tool for NAFI members to encourage their students to join EAA, become a part of the network of recreational aviators, and gain access to the benefits of membership in this worldwide association. The program is straightforward and advantageous to all involved. The only requirement is that the participant be a member of both NAFI and EAA.

Current Members
NAFI members volunteering to serve as NAFI-EAA Mentors encourage other pilots – principally new flight students, but all are welcome – to become members of EAA. Upon joining, the new member’s NAFI-EAA Mentor will be credited $10 for recruiting the new member. At year’s end, EAA will mail a check for all such credits.

Recruited Pilots
Either the NAFI-EAA Mentor or the recruited pilot may call, mail, or email EAA’s Member Services team to join, with the Mentor’s name noted. When a mentored pilot joins, EAA will send the new member a special Student Package with the following components:

Tip sheet for using EAA’s Flight Planner

Issues of Sport Pilot and Sport Aviation

Brochure describing EAA’s worldwide network of local chapters

Registering
It’s easy to register as an NAFI-EAA Mentor. Simply write, email or call our Membership Services office at 800-843-3612. We’ll take your membership numbers, enroll you in the program, and send you the materials to participate.

This program has been designed to strengthen your associations and bolster the welcome to folks just entering the world of aviation. We’re all pilots; it’s just that some of us have logged fewer hours!
