NAFI Writing Rewards Program This one's been a long time coming: To say thanks to our dedicated NAFI members who provide the content for Mentor magazine and eMentor newsletter, we're launching a new Writing Rewards Program (February 2010). For the first featured article you get published in either publication, we'll send you a free NAFI hat. Get five featured articles published in one year and you'll earn yourself a free one-year NAFI membership. Get 10 articles published in two years, and we'll give you free processing for your NAFI Master Instructor accreditation. All articles are subject to editorial review, but if you've considered writing for us, this is the time to earn some great benefits for your efforts. Job Posting Board Located in the Member's Area, is the NAFI job posting board. If you or your employer have any job openings, and would like a free way to get the word out to NAFI members, please write up a discription of the job including position requirements and benifits, and send it with a company logo (logo not required), to nafi@nafinet.org. NOTE: You do NOT need to be a member to ask us to post a job for your company.

NAFI Master Instructors The Master Instructor designation is a national accreditation that is recognized by the FAA and may be used to renew flight instructor certificates. This renewable designation is granted to aviation educators who are demonstrating an ongoing commitment to excellence, professional growth, and service to the aviation community. NAFI Flight Training Organization The NAFI FTO membership highlights those flight schools that are dedicated to providing high quality instruction and have instructors who are in touch with the flight instruction community. To have highly qualified instructors who regularly keep up-to-date on flight instruction community developments allows a flight training organization’s staff to provide the best training possible to its customers. To promote your instruction efforts in this way allows training organization’s to showcase the increased level of involvement their instructors have within the flight instruction community. Representation
Government Representation NAFI is well respected in Washington, DC as the representative of the flight instructor community. NAFI keeps a close watch on FAA actions and proposals, and coordinates with the FAA to ensure the best interest of flight instructors. National Recognition Quality instructors deserve national recognition. NAFI provides significant support within the national General Aviation Awards program and specifically the Certificated Flight Instructor of the Year selection process. In addition, the association founded and administers the Flight Instructor Hall of Fame.

Events
Field efforts and activities NAFI is promoting flight instruction and involvement at dozens of aviation field events. You’ll find NAFI at AirVenture and Sun ‘n Fun, and other premier aviation events.
