NAFI Board of Directors Today Accepts Jason Blair’s Resignation
KALAMAZOO, MI.  (January 7, 2013) NAFI Board Statement

It is with regret that the NAFI Board of Directors today accepted Jason Blair’s resignation as Executive Director. We greatly appreciate Jason’s service on behalf of NAFI and its members.

The NAFI board will be conducting a teleconference meeting to determine its next steps. The board plans to name an interim administrator and is putting together a search committee to begin the process of finding a new Executive Director.

Both NAFI publications, eMentor and Mentor magazine will continue to be published as scheduled.

The NAFI board will announce its next steps to the membership in Wednesday’s eMentor.

NAFI again wishes to thank Jason for his tireless service and dedication to both the association and to the aviation community as a whole.  We look forward to working with him as a contributor in the future and wish him well in his endeavors.

The National Association of Flight Instructors’ members work at flight schools, universities, FBO’s, corporate flight departments, in the military and as independent instructors. NAFI was founded in 1967 and its members, who now teach in 17 countries, are dedicated to raising and maintaining the professionalism of flight instruction.

NAFI members influence active pilots daily; pilots training to advance their skills with new ratings or certificates and students working to become pilots. NAFI staff also works with industry and government and serves as a voice for flight instruction. NAFI shapes the direction of flight training.
