NAFI at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2023

The NAFI Professional Development Center (PDC), launched in 2017 as part of NAFI’s 50th anniversary celebration, has grown into a premier flight training education venue at EAA AirVenture. Last year, more than 1,838 aviators attended 31 presentations. As NAFI celebrates its 56th year representing flight educators, there will be new activities and opportunities for members beyond the outstanding presentation schedule.

NAFI will boast a much larger tent this year and will be in the Main Aircraft Display area in Booth 354 (next to the Garmin tent). This year, the PDC has expanded to 33 presentations (see full list and schedule). Please join us and experience compelling educational content hosted by well-known subject matter experts in the flight instruction community.

The PDC presentations alone make it worthwhile to stop by the NAFI tent, but here are more great reasons:

  • Daily drawings for prizes, including handheld radios, training materials, headsets, free memberships, and more.
  • $5 discount on all new and renewing memberships.
  • Mix and mingle with your favorite instructors and presenters.
  • Morning coffee.

The annual NAFI member breakfast on Thursday, July 27, at 8 a.m. will be a memorable event for socializing and networking. Sponsored by AOPA, it includes a continental breakfast from La Sure’s Bakery featuring breakfast sandwiches, pastries, fruit, coffee, juice, and energy drinks. Like last year, we will have door prize drawings for two Icom A16 radios generously donated by NAFI sponsor Icom America Inc.

Following the breakfast, the annual association business update will include:
